Hello, and welcome to the fifth progress update of Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition! In these updates, I share what progress I have made since the last update while working on this project. I hope you'll enjoy hearing what I have to say, and now it's progress update time!

Random Mode

A big addition coming to the next version (V0.2), which will be the full release of Alpha 6, is Random Mode (RM). In this gamemode, a random schoolhouse is selected each time you play, meaning the next schoolhouse you play likely won't be the same one you played previously. After the Beta 1 update has been released, RM will include a total of 10 random schoolhouses: 5 community-made schoolhouses (thanks to Nyan_Dev on Discord for the suggestion), and 5 new schoolhouses that I will create for RM. With the possibility of more getting added in future updates. Out of the 5 schoolhouses I will create for RM, one has already been finished (which you can see in the image below). I'm using the Floor Customizer to help create these schoolhouses, which means it takes less time for me to build them compared to when I had to build floors without the help of a level editor. Because of this, it means the other 4 schoolhouses should also be completed soon and when they are, I'll update this post (edit: I decided to end up not updating that post, and you can already play random mode since the V0.2.0 update) with download links to them so players can try them out early before the next version releases. 

Player Selection Screen

The Player Selection Screen is where you'll be able to change the player you are currently playing as. There will be a total of 6 players to choose from, which will be Baldi, Jake, Johnny, Joseph, Markus, and Zolt. On the screen (which will be accessible from the Players button on the launcher's settings screen), you'll be able to view a description about that player along with that player's height, speed, and stamina statistics. For now, all players will be available from the beginning of the game, but once Story Mode has been developed further, you'll have to complete certain floors in Story Mode to unlock the rest of the players (excluding Markus, who will be available at the start of the game).

Alpha 6 Release Plan

For the full release of Alpha 6, I've decided that I will be releasing the update in 2 major parts (V0.2.0 and V0.2.5) and 1 minor part (V0.2.2) since it's a big update. You can view the release plan for Alpha 6 below, which includes when each part of the update will be released, as well as a few notable additions in each of those versions. And since it turned out that the Baldi's Fun New School Remastered 2 Year Anniversary Event (which will last for a week from August 5th to 12th) was not ready in time for the release of Part 1, I decided to release a small V0.2.1 update in-between Part 1 and 2 that added everything that was previously missing for the first in-game event in Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition! (NOTE: In Alpha 6 Part 1.5 (V0.2.2), the end date of the BFNS Remastered 2 Year Anniversary event was changed to August 15th, 2023. However, this change does not affect the V0.2.1 update.)
