Hello, and welcome to the fourth progress update of Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition! In these updates, I share what progress I have made during each month while working on this project. I hope you'll enjoy hearing what I have to say, and now it's progress update time!

(Real) April Test Build Released!

Yesterday, I released the real April Test Build, which anyone can try out and download from this page. You can see what includes and doesn't include here. Some of the things it does include though is a partially finished Multiplayer gamemode, a few secrets, and more! Speaking of Multiplayer...

Multiplayer

One thing I spent most of April working on was the implementation of Multiplayer. It currently includes a partially finished version of Competitive Multiplayer with one mode, Notebook Competition. I go more into detail about my future plans for Multiplayer in this post, so you should take a look at it if you haven't already and have some time.

Story Mode Floor 2

After the release of the April Test Build, I have started working on Floor 2 of Story Mode. I don't have much else to say about it at the moment, except for the fact that it will use some improved methods I've come up with for level development in Ultimate Edition, which should help me speed up the amount of time it takes me to create a level from start to finish. And before I conclude this progress update, there's one more thing I would like to mention...

Cutscenes

The first cutscene has now been completed. My plan for some cutscenes is that they will play before the start of the next floor in Story Mode, and there will be an option on the settings screen for skipping cutscenes if you don't want to watch them every time as well. Since the first cutscene I've finished relates to the lore and backstory of a certain character in Ultimate Edition, I don't want to spoil too much. So I'll leave you with a teaser from that cutscene.
