Hello, and welcome to the sixth progress update of Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition! In these updates, I share what progress I have made since the last update while working on this project. I hope you'll enjoy hearing what I have to say, and now it's progress update time!

An Upcoming Change In Name

Starting with the Beta releases, the name of Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition will be shortened to Baldi's Fun New School Ultimate (abbreviated as BFNSU). I've decided to change the name after receiving feedback about the current name being too long and/or confusing, according to some players. The shorter name also fits better with the naming scheme of some other releases in the Baldi's Fun New School series, such as Baldi's Fun New School Remastered.

Some Beta News

With the last Alpha version releasing soon, the Alpha development phase of Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition will finally come to an end. The next major version that will be released is Beta 1, which will mark the beginning of the Beta development phase! Some major changes are planned to be included in that version, such as new characters and structures, an overhauled Floor Customizer, optimizations and improvements, and much more. One of the places where I'll be posting some Beta development related content will be Mastodon, so make sure to follow me there if you want to be notified when those posts are published!

Multiplayer Test Versions Page Cancelled

Before ending this progress update, I have some unfortunate news regarding the multiplayer test versions page that was announced back in Progress Update #3.5. I have decided that I will NOT be publishing a separate page for multiplayer test versions of Baldi's Fun New School Plus Ultimate Edition. One of the reasons why I've made this decision is because I feel that having to release separate versions of BFNSPUE with only the multiplayer included in them would just end up making unnecessary work for myself while developing this project.

Instead, what I'm going to do is split the in-game multiplayer into 2 separate categories, one for stable multiplayer modes, and one for development multiplayer modes that are incomplete and only partially finished, but in a state where they are playable enough for anyone who wants to try them out while they are still under development.
