Development Update #1

Hello, and welcome to the first development status update for Minecraft's Basics 4! In this first update, I will talk about the mod progress I have made so far, and talk about some new features I've added.

Advanced Minimap

So, the first new feature I've implemented is the advanced minimap! To activate it, press the TAB key. When you activate it, it will take up your full screen, and rooms, hallways, and other areas will appear as different colored outlines. To deactivate it, press TAB again. The minimap also has an animation when you open and close it. The player appears on the map as a blue triangle, and items appear as different colored question marks. Depending on what color the question mark is, indicates how rare that item is. Yellow is the most common, and dark blue is the most rare. The advanced minimap is mostly finished, although I'm still working on the filling out feature.

Detention Bar

Another new thing is the detention bar. Instead of text appearing when you get detention, a bar will appear with the amount of seconds left underneath it. The bar will go down as your detention time decreases, and will dissapear when your detention is finished.

Anyways, one last thing I wanted to mention is the principal's keys have gotten a bugfix to make them work like in 1.4.2 and later versions of Baldi's Basics. I hope you enjoyed this status update, and I plan on releasing the pre-beta to those who signed up soon!
