So, I have some small news regarding Baldi's Fun New School Ultimate! First off, all of the planned DLC will be available free to download from a separate itch page I'll create at some point for it. Also, no DLC will be released until after the 1.0 release of BFNSU comes out, since I want the project to be complete before I start releasing downloadable content for it.
In addition, I've created a document where fans can share their ideas for new features in BFNSU, with the potential for some of them to be added. You can submit any appropriate ideas you have here, but make sure to set your idea up like the example shown below. Also, the description for your idea(s) should be a short one as well.
EDIT: Due to vandalization and spamming on the ideas document, which was preventing people from sharing their ideas, I have changed it to where you must now request editor access to enter your ideas into the document.
Don't worry about it. I found out who it was, removed them from the document, and restored it to how it was before. Also, I think I will be able to make it work instead of having to scrap the document, since I have a separate version of the ideas document only I can access, and I could always just move the fan ideas to my private ideas document if I ever had to delete the public one.

bro ProjectSG, in every game the walls are invisible from the other side, how do you think one side of the wall can be... idk, bricks, and the other side maybe wood in plus, or maybe, in classic remastered, you know the walls that are faces (Noncannonconnorwall)? Well, the way that's made is that they are invisible on one side, so really, in between rooms are 2 walls. So like, the hallway has one wall then the room on the other side is another walls, so 2 walls put together look like one, but they are really 2. Get it right XD

As a follow up to this post, another new feature coming to the beta Floor Builder will be custom music support (CMS). Similar to the planned custom texture support, CMS will let you use custom audio files in your floor for audio like the school music.
Also, my testing of this feature in a separate project also had good results. A short development video of some of this testing is included below. So, not only should you be able to make a custom floor with unique textures, but you'll also be able to include unique music in it as well that fits the floor's theme, leading to lots of customization possibilities!
I'm not sure if I would be able to add a feature like that, but custom texture and music support will definitely be included! Perhaps I'll still look into trying to add that, though.
Or, perhaps I could make it so you could use video files (such as an .mp4) from your device for the cinematics, and you could just select what video file you want to use for an intro (or outro) to your custom floor from ones that you could maybe put in some "cinematics" folder of sorts. I think that could work, but I'll have to do some testing like what I did with the custom texture and music support.
The first content update for the Floor Browser has been released! This update adds 10 more custom floors, for a total now of 20 different ones. And the best part is, you don't even have to update the game to check out the newly added floors. Here's a look at some of them, along with the beta progress, which has also been updated.

Yes, I'll probably add that to the Floor Browser so there's a way in-game to upload levels. With the new account system I'm planning on introducing in the Beta versions, it should let players do that as a part of it. As for level moderation, there will probably be some kind of report button on each level's entry, which would let the player submit a report that would be sent to me so I can see it and remove the inappropriate level from the Floor Browser, if it somehow got past the moderation that would happen during the approval process for an uploaded custom floor.

Well, being able to change the character's sprites might end up being part of the planned mod support for the beta versions, and that might also include being able to change the character's sound effects as well.

Progress has been going well. JSP Bossfights will be good for floor buliders Beacuse some people want lores and Bossfights For a reason Its like Your type of lore but Alot more player made fan Like Its kinda getting boring beacuse We are making chase scenes theres no other bossfights You can play so it will be good idea if you add that!
This is something I've thought about before. That's why I'll probably implement some kind of "Floor Type" setting or option in the beta floor builder. This would let the player choose the type of floor they want, such as a "Bossfight", a "Camping Field Trip" ⛺, etc. And depending on what type you set your floor to, it would change some mechanics and add/remove objects that are only available in a specific floor type, such as campfire objects 🔥 only being available in the camping trip floor type.
